Headquartered in Vancouver, our team consists of professionals duly qualified and regulated by the Canadian government to provide guidance, strategy, and representation in any Canadian visa and immigration process. They are also authorized to represent clients before the IRB (Immigration and Refugee Board) in cases of detention, asylum claims, loss of status, and more.
About Us
Our team is led by Immigration Consultant Jonas Trannin and includes a network of partner consultants and agents with extensive experience serving clients from diverse nationalities.
Jonas Tavares Trannin, founder and visionary of Solaris Immigration, was certified in Canadian Immigration Consulting in Vancouver, is licensed by the ICCRC (Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council), and is also a member of CAPIC (Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants).
Additionally, he has a strong educational background, holding degrees in Business Administration and Law from the Federal University of Mato Grosso, and a postgraduate degree in Global Business Management from Sprott Shaw College (DT Vancouver Campus).
Professionally, he has over ten years of experience as a company manager and director, and five years in legal practice handling civil and labor cases (OAB/MT 18.802/O).
Personally, Jonas is married, a father to a daughter, and passionate about spiritual topics, peoples, and cultures. Fluent in Portuguese and English, and proficient in French, he aims to use his organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities to serve as a bridge connecting people to each other and to their life goals.

Antonio Oquendo
Business Developer, Solaris Immigration
Antonio Oquendo is a Venezuelan-born entrepreneur, lawyer, and MBA graduate with over three decades of experience in international business development. Based in Victoria, BC, he is a Business Developer at Solaris Immigration, where he supports clients by combining strategic insight with a deep personal understanding of the immigrant experience.
Antonio has led business operations across Latin America and North America, working in sectors such as technology, education, and social impact. In Canada, he has co-founded several companies and currently serves as Director of Business Development at Viion Systems Inc., a tech firm exporting smart traffic solutions to over a dozen countries.
Passionate about community engagement, Antonio also serves as Treasurer of the Venezuelan Canadian Society of BC and the Vancouver Island Hispanic Network Society, where he helps lead programs that support integration and entrepreneurship for newcomers.
